A wide variety of emerging and already established photographic and image-based artists have contributed to Umter, we would like to take this opportunity to offer our humble thankyou to our contributors, without whom, this could not be possible.

The works included in this issue are a testament to the current state of the world of the visual arts. This time of year always pushes forward the continual critical discourse within the visual arts, with new practitioners emerging from graduation shows.
